We went camping out on the North Shore this weekend and had a wonderful time. After we got all set up we kayaked out to a little island across from where we camped called "Goat Island" (no, there were not goats on the island). The water was pretty rough so it was hard to get there but once we did it was so worth it. Scott and Erik found a Puffer Fish in trouble and saved it (I inculded the video for you). The kids did great, except Emma did not like having dirty feet so that was a little bit of an issue but we made it through. It was so much fun!!! Enjoy!

Sherri--This blog is great. I have kept one for the past several years for the same personal reasons you have, and it is a great tool for my friends and family far away to keep up with us! (Unfortunately Mitch wasn't able to view it the last time he was in Iraq, they blocked all blog sitesl.) I am thinking of you all and I just know how hard it is right now as the time draws closer for Scott to leave. My heart and prayers are with you and all the families during these difficult days! The departure is always the hardest part for me.
I'm so glad to see you guys have been making the most of your time together. Camping on the North Shore sounds like a blast, and we love the Hilton Waikoloa on the Big Island...was our favorite family vacation spot when we lived there!! Looking at your photos brings back some good memories for me. I love the video of Scott saving the puffer fish...that is a cool fish!!! Tell Scott he's da man.
Wishing you well and sending all our love and blessings!!
Hi Naumans,
What fun it is for us to be a part of your life through this blog. Your family is in our hearts and prayers as you get ready to say good bye to Scott for a little while. I'm going to print his picture to have as a reminder to pray for him, and all of you every day. We love you!1
