OK, so this is what happens when I let Emma and Erik take a "few" pictures with the camera. They are too funny......I love the one of Erik and his sunglasses!!!!

- I origially wanted to start keeping a journal starting now and throughout Scott's 1 year deployment to Iraq. After thinking about this I knew that the likelyhood of sitting down and hand writing in a journal was pretty slim. I am more apt to type than write these days. So, here I am starting my very first blog. This is going to be a tough year for us, we have gone through many deployments but never a year long. Please remember to keep Scott and all of our troops in your prayers!

Thank you again for having this blog. I look every morning for new pictures and news of the family. We had Halloween dinner at Terri's home with about 40 other people. She doesn't do anything small when it comes to dinners. We are going to miss them come the end of December. I sent a letter to Scott this week.
You are all in our prayers. I"m excited to see you in Washington.
